Medals for talent and work
Three KBM employees were conferred the medal of the Order for the Service to Homeland of 2nd degree:
- Aleksandr Andreyevich Borisov, foreman of the assembly workshop at the test department,
- Georgiy Vladimirovich Vasilyev, head of a design department,
- Valeriy Andreyevich Lomako, deputy technical director, head of technical re-equipment and reconstruction.
The award was presented on 9 December 2015 in Moscow by D.V. Manturov, Minister of industry and commerce.
On behalf of Russia’s President and himself Mr. Manturov congratulated all those present and expressed sincere thanks for multiple-year professional work.
In his address Mr. Manturov said: “Due to your direct involvement the scientific and production achievements of previous years were not just preserved but we were able to perform a technological breakthrough in key industries of the defence industrial sector. The companies you represent are leaders in production of up-to-date missile and aviation systems, artillery ordnance and radars, microelectronics and high-precision control and guidance systems. As a result our armed forces possess reliable and, it is no exaggeration, world’s best defence systems and your achievements provide innovational spin-offs for civilian industries.”
